Susan is writing from her home in western Pennsylvania. She says that she prefers to write in fast bursts of prose. These bursts are compiled in the collection Portal Passages. Recently we organized Susan's poetry into two: Nightworks & Other Poems (which appears in Poetix); and this multi-faceted collection: Heartbeats.

For the adults among us, Susan's collection Wilder Roses Blooming is a new departure for her on a path perhaps a little challenging... but a writing life without challenges likely means the dust has blanketed the creativity.
